Journeyman HVAC TechnicianPosition SummaryBasin Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a valued client seeking an experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician to join their growing team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of residential HVAC systems including heat pumps, mini splits, air conditioning systems, and related equipment.The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, customer-service oriented, and experienced working independently in residential environments.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallationInstall residential HVAC systems including:Heat pumpsMini split systemsCentral air conditioning systemsAssociated ducting, controls, and componentsInterpret blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and installation requirementsEnsure installations comply with applicable building codes, manufacturer standards, and company quality expectationsPull permits as required and ensure work complies with municipal, provincial, and code requirementsComplete startup, commissioning, and performance testing of installed systemsService & RepairDiagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues efficiently and accuratelyPerform repairs, replacements, and system adjustments on residential HVAC equipmentConduct preventative maintenance and seasonal service inspectionsIdentify and communicate additional repair or replacement recommendations to customersMaintain accurate service records and documentationCustomer ServiceProvide professional and courteous service to homeownersExplain system issues, repair options,
