This position focuses on serving meals and assisting with all dining-related tasks at a retirement residence. Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout, ensuring every meal is enjoyable and safe for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food to residents and guests with professionalism
• Clear and set dining tables efficiently
• Support cleaning efforts in the kitchen and dining areas
• Engage in catering for special events
• Train and orient new culinary staff members
Requirements:
• Prior food service experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills essential
• Ability to handle heavy items and stand/walk during shifts
• A second language is an extra asset
• Valid Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening required
