The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) is seeking a Sessional Lecturer I for a pivotal laboratory course Techniques in Biological Chemistry II. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry and have demonstrated teaching excellence. Responsibilities include the delivery of lectures, preparation of course content, and the supervision of TAs while fostering student engagement in biochemical analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver interactive lectures weekly
• Design and grade assignments, tests, and exams




• Provide supervision and direction to TAs
• Hold regular office hours for student support
• Maintain course materials and uphold academic standards
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in a relevant Chemistry field
• Recent high-quality research experience (within 4 years)
• Documented teaching excellence in relevant courses
• Ability to present a captivating sample lecture
