including commissions, banking, general ledger, A/P & A/RManage the month/quarter/year end closing and ensure accurate data is submitted to Corporate FinanceParticipate in the Company’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and annual planning processesPerform short and long-term financial forecasts for use with internal management.Manage and oversee the full-cycle payroll process and reporting in compliance with federal requirements and provincial employment standardsComplete year-end related activities including T4, RL1, T4A and NR production, summaries, and year-end reconciliations ensuring compliance with CRA and Revenue Quebec regulationsManage operational risk through the documentation of key processes, policies and proceduresCoach and mentor team members; identify employeetraining and development needs; participate in the hiring and employment processes for team members; set employee goals and objectives, manage employee performance; other duties as assigned, which may include special projects and initiativesWhat we’re looking for you to haveProfessional accounting designation (e.G. CPA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent work experiencePCP certification would be an assetMinimum seven (7+) years’ experience in financial managementProficiency in Excel, accounting software (Quickbooks, etc.)Relationship management and negotiation skills to effectively represent the organizationStrong communication skills and problem-solving skillsConsiderable judgment and discretion in preparing,
