The Youth Mentor position is an integral part of the Shared Services Mentorship Program, working to engage young boys through agile workshop facilitation and positive mentorship. With a commitment of 25 hours per week, you will play a vital role in fostering relationships and building community trust among youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate workshops and programs in school settings
• Foster mentorship relationships with young male participants
• Communicate effectively with families about program activities
• Ensure compliance with YMCA Child Protection policies




• Participate in required Child Protection Training
Requirements:
• Strong relationship-building skills with youth, especially males
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with program planning and youth mentorship
• Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector verification
• Updated CPR and First Aid necessary at start
