What youu2019ll doPerform service and preventative maintenance on all equipment within the D.C. proceduresMaintain safety standards of equipment and work area, while performing all duties in a safe manner in accordance with safety policiesRespond to all equipment breakdowns in a timely manner based on priority systemsMaintain parts and work records on computerized maintenance system (CMMS)Perform repairs with minimal supervision, taking responsibility and decision making to oversee that the job is complete within time demandsProvide information on equipment/system problems see job to completion within time demandsSupport cross-functional repairs to equipment that includes electrical and mechanicalDepartment support for testing, repairing, and calibrating electric or electronic componentsMaintain continuity among team by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair automation, conveyers, material handling equipment, bar code scanners, electrical, lubrication systems, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment, and all other related devices to maintain productionEvaluate and improve our processes for uptime and repeatabilityEvaluate downtime situations for root cause and identify potential risks to similar processesServices, maintains, repairs and tests current or existing equipment and verifies conformanceDemonstrate flexibility when tasks are re-assigned or alteredAbility to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine layout of industrial equipment installationsWhat you bringOntario Certificate of Qualification as Industrial Millwright (certificate required)Rated skills/experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, automation, HMI,VFD and PLC programming and control systemsMust Licensed Industrial Millwright or Licensed Industrial MechanicPossess organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated machinery repair, overhaul and troubleshooting skills with materialhandling equipment - (e.G., Conveyors, Sorters, Spirals, MSRS, ASRS,
