Application Information
In this role, you will:
- Prepare engineering documents: drawings, change notices and production designs.
- Conduct field work associated with surveying, mine ventilation and ground support.
- Job shadow engineering or mining staff for on-the-job training.
Required:
- bachelors degree in mine (or related) engineering;
- two to six years of relevant work experience required;
- eligible for registration with the association of professional engineers and geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS);
- working towards registration as a Qualified Engineer;
- strong communication, planning and organizational skills;
- flexibility, teamwork and good time management; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended:
- previous experience in an underground mining environment in a technical or operational role; and
- familiarity with mining products or mining software (Deswik preferred).
Conditions of Employment:
- pre-employment substance test.
