As a member of our Technology & Operations team, you will help deliver the digital and operational foundations that enable us to serve customers with excellence, every day.Job SummaryThePortfolio Delivery Manageris a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of10 Project Managersand providing portfolio‑level governance on12–15 concurrent technology and business initiativeswithin the Everyday Banking and Lending portfolio. This role ensures project delivery excellence, adherence to BMO governance standards, and timely escalation management across multiple channels, applications, and infrastructure platforms.This leader brings deep expertise in project delivery, practice maturity, and change management, while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. The role is ideal for ahigh‑performing, strategic people leaderwith strong delivery discipline and a commitment to empowering teams.Key AccountabilitiesPeople Leadership & CultureLead, develop, and support a team of 10 Project Managers, fostering a culture aligned to BMO’s purpose, values, and leadership expectations.Build an inclusive, collaborative environment where employees can contribute their best work and grow their careers.Recognize performance, coach for improvement, and address issues proactively.Strengthen team capability through ongoing coaching, practice development, and skills uplift.Portfolio Delivery GovernanceProvide governance oversight across 12–15 active projects, ensuring alignment to BMO methodologies, controls, and protocols.Oversee project health, status integrity, risk/issue management, dependencies, and budget adherence.Manage escalations and support Project Managers in resolving complex delivery challenges.Ensure consistent delivery practices and quality across diverse initiatives.Strategic Partnership & AdvisoryPartner with senior leaders to shape strategic direction and recommend portfolio‑level priorities.Contribute to business case development, ROI assessments,



and resource planning.Provide insights to help optimize delivery outcomes across Everyday Banking & Lending.Serve as a subject matter expert on portfolio execution, governance, and practice standards.Practice Management & Operational ExcellenceChampion practice management maturity, including tools, processes, standards, and behaviours.Lead and support training, facilitation, and change adoption to enhance PM capabilities.Execute and continuously improve operational and practice management programs.Ensure consistent and scalable application of project management frameworks across the portfolio.Change Management & CommunicationLead change management activities including readiness assessments, execution, evaluation, and sustainment.Create and deliver communication strategies that support successful adoption and positively influence stakeholder behaviour.Partner across BMO to ensure aligned messaging and coordinated execution.Data, Reporting & InsightsDefine reporting and analytics requirements to support insight-driven decision making.Integrate data from multiple sources to deliver explicit, actionable reporting and portfolio insights.Ensure adherence to data governance standards and drive continuous improvement in reporting quality.Vendor & Stakeholder CollaborationAct as day‑to‑day vendor point of contact, supporting solution implementation and sustainment.Build strong relationships across business, technology, and external partners to ensure alignment and delivery success.Problem Solving & Continuous ImprovementBreak down strategic challenges, analyze data, and provide high‑impact recommendations.Apply creativity and judgement to resolve complex, ambiguous, or unique problems.Monitor shifting trends and adapt approaches to maintain operational excellence.Qualifications10+ years of relevant experience in project delivery in banking and financial sector, PMO, or portfolio management leadership.Post‑secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile Scrum Master, Six Sigma are preferred.Proven experience leading high‑performing teams and managing complex,
