You will oversee staff and projects across Canada, focusing on risk management, timely delivery, budget adherence, and achieving targeted profit margins while growing revenues.Direct involvement in major projects from an oversight perspective, with Project Managers running the projects, while you ensure project complexities are understood and managed.Optimize construction processes, mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous innovation across projects in support of property management.Ensure processes for project management are consistent nationwide, accounting for regional differences.Champion new initiatives and assist with consistent implementation across geographies; drive developmentand execution of the project management strategy in alignment with business goals and market conditions.Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards, while monitoring and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders (contractors, vendors, project partners) to ensure smooth project execution and successful outcomes.Develop programs and initiatives on a national scale in line with Colliers’ strategies and clients’ objectives; implement strategies tooptimize construction processes, drive operational efficiencies, and reduce project costs without compromising quality.Ensure teams are aware of and compliant with regulatory requirements, including building codes,



safety standards, and environmental regulations across all construction projects.Provide leadership and mentorship to senior construction managers and teams, fostering a high-performance culture and accountability.Attract, retain, motivate, and inspire a high-performing team, and create a succession plan to support future growth. Delegate to and empower the team; act as a role model andinfluencer of our values and cultural behaviours.Monitor project performance nationwide and present regular reports to senior leadership on status, budget, timeline, risks, and issues.Position REMS Canada as an industry leader by participating in national events and, where appropriate, media publications regarding construction and project management.Develop national standards, KPIs, guidance, and tools for project management issues to continually raise the bar within Project Management.Co-develop and implement operational plans and tools to carry out the long-term business strategy for the Construction Project Management group.As a technical expert, support and coach the career development of practitioners assigned to projects in your portfolio.Understand market conditions across Canada and assist in developing regional plans.QualificationsSignificant leadership experience, including managing multiple project teams and contractors across various asset classes (office, retail, industrial, other).Expertise in construction project management including scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and contract administration.Deep knowledge of construction best practices, building codes, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.Proven track record of successful project delivery with expertise in cost management, scheduling,



and contract negotiation.Ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.Develop short to medium-term plans for the service including budgets, forecasts, staffing levels, technology requirements, and key performance indicators.An advisory mindset with exceptional service orientation; able to manage growth and profitability of the service and align delivery with organizational goals, market conditions, and emerging trends.Master’s degree and/or advanced certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent are important.Additional InformationArea / Location Specific: OntarioApproximate Compensation: Annual salary range: $180,000 to $200,000Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location; the displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation.
