About the RoleAs a Sr Advanced Project Engineer (Sr. Electronic Hardware Engineer – Project engineering) here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading advanced engineering projects that drive innovation and enhance our product offerings. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring the successful execution of engineering initiatives. The position is based in Mississauga, ON, and reports directly to the Director of Engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage advanced engineering projects from concept to completion.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute project plans.Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges.Schedule, milestone development, and manage timelines.Perform cost estimation and management.Build customer relationships.Develop and manage risk and opportunities.Serve as the key engineering supplier and customer interface.Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives.Manage and control subcontractor performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Coordinate build and test of engineering hardware.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.Minimum 8 years of related engineering experience,
including 2+ years in a project engineering role.Eligibility for CGP security clearance.Desired Skills and ExperienceExperience managing complex engineering projects.Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.Robust analytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong leadership and project management skills.Proficiency in engineering tools and methodologies.Experience with aerospace engineering principles and practices.Demonstrated organizational skills with experience forming and leading functionally diverse and global teams.Experience in the development of power electronic hardware (desirable).Self‑motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative.Clear communication skills.Earned Value Management experience.Creative problem‑solving through technical data and risk assessment.PMP certification (desired).CompensationThe salary for this position is starting from $100,000 in Mississauga, Ontario.
