The technician will be responsible for various BAS preventative maintenance tasks, programming & graphic changes, possible HVAC equipment startups, and commissioning and troubleshooting of DDC Systems with minimal supervision. This position requires flexibility to work overtime as the business needs (on call).Key Responsibilities:Understand and have knowledge of building mechanical/electrical/control systems and equipment, typical BAS controls systems and devicesEffective and timely communication at the highest possible levelTotal customer satisfaction, internal and externalPerform site-specific training for owner/operatorProfessional and expedient conflict resolutionPerform system startups, and network connections,



create and modify graphics interfaces as requiredPoint-to-point functional testing of equipment/systemsDocumenting and record-keeping of one’s workCoordinates and communicates with clients and dispatchers.Adherence to schedules and deadlinesAttention to safety protocolsUse of hand tools and testing equipmentQualifications:High School or GED required.Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school with a certificate in Instrumentation, Automation, AAS, BAS preferred.At least two years of experience as a BAS Service TechnicianProficient with: Microsoft Office SuiteGood understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code.
