OverviewWe are looking for a Fitter – Welder to join our Stoney Creek team, serving a wide-ranging clientele throughout Ontario. The role reports to the Operation Manager and involves assembling and repairing lifting devices for customers across Ontario.Main ResponsibilitiesSetting up and operating trade machinery such as band saws, radial drill presses, manual and automatic oxy‑fuel cutting, flux‑cored arc welding and MIG equipmentReading and interpreting blueprints and diagramsPlanning the sequence of tasks and deciding how to cut steel in the most cost‑effective mannerFabricating and assembling structural steel details by drilling, punching holes, grinding, cutting, tack welding, fastening, bolting, or bending and shaping structural steel into the desired patternPerforming job duties with precisionFollowing instructions given by the Lead Hand and/or Plant ManagerMaintaining a safe, clean,
