Become a vital part of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. This position focuses on delivering quality play-based education for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will collaborate with classroom teachers to enhance cognitive, emotional, and social development in a full-day Early Learning Program. You will also lead before and after-school programs, ensuring continuous support for students at designated elementary schools. This role requires a commitment to high educational standards and nurturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teachers in daily classroom activities
• Provide play-based education to Kindergarten students




• Lead extended before/after-school programs
• Maintain high standards of student well-being
• Communicate effectively with parents about progress
Requirements:
• Two-year Early Childhood Education diploma or equivalent
• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
• Minimum one year of childcare experience
• Valid First Aid certification/CPR
• Police Records Check for the Vulnerable Sector
