The Compliance Auditor's primary responsibility is to plan, schedule, and execute compliance audits both individually and as part of a compliance audit team when auditing large firms. The role also involves continuous improvement of policies and procedures related to the compliance audit program and supporting registrants—both individuals and firms—by answering questions and providing guidance related to the regulatory requirements of the Compliance Audit Program. We are looking for auditors with robust communication skills, who thrive in a people‑facing role and enjoy working as part of a strong team. The successful candidate will help guide and support the professional practice of engineering and geoscience in the province.What You Will Be DoingAssist in the planning, delivery, and maintenance of the Registrant Firm Compliance Audit Program and the Individual Registrant Compliance Audit ProgramPlan and conduct registrant firm compliance audits as assigned by the Manager, and individual registrant compliance audits as needed (may lead team audits of large firms when required)Act as an engineering/geoscience subject‑matter expert in relation to Engineers and Geoscientists BC's regulations and act as a figure of authority when interacting with registrant firmsRepresent Engineers and Geoscientists BC and the organization's standards and guidelines in a professional and knowledgeable mannerPrepare and submit compliance audit reportsProcess and follow up on corrective actions identified during compliance auditsDevelop strong working relationships with firm contacts, Responsible Registrants,
