You 'll merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life.Perform and analyze HVDC, AC, CV, and transient electrical characterization for on-wafer and packaged GaN HEMTsDesign on-wafer test structures and automate probing stations/measurement systems for efficient data acquisitionInterpret physical analysis data (SEM/TEM, thermal imaging, EDX, SIMS) to support device physics understanding and failure analysisCoordinate characterization data with modeling teams to develop compact device models for circuit simulationPartner with design and application engineering teams to diagnose device behavior and drive performance improvementsDevelop, troubleshoot, and standardize test procedures; provide technical guidance to operators, technicians, and junior engineersMaintain characterization databases, ensure data integrity,



and produce explicit technical reports and documentationYour ProfileQualifications And Skills To Help You SucceedMSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics (PhD preferred)Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor power device characterizationStrong foundation in compound semiconductor materials, GaN E-HEMT physics, and high-voltage/CV measurement techniquesProficiency with semiconductor parameter analyzers, CV systems, and high-voltage characterization equipmentProgramming/automation skills (Python, C++, LabVIEW, or MATLAB) and experience with statistical data analysis, such as SpotfireExcellent problem-solving, technical writing, and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary R&D; environmentDiversity & InclusionInfineon welcomes applications from people with disabilities.
