SALARY: EMPLOYEE: $26-32/HOUR | CONTRACTOR: FEE SPLITClinical duties include:Evidence-based assessment and treatment services for clients who have sustained a variety of injuries and conditions, usually with a goal of assisting them to return to work.Implement, monitor and progress exercise and work simulation programs.Management of resources, scheduling clients, tracking attendance, ensuring report timeliness and communicating with various stakeholders (insurance company, employer, physician, etc) in conjunction with the team Physiotherapist.Develop structured Gradual Return to Work (GRTW) plans.Monitor the GRTW plan to facilitate a successful outcome.Work with clients referred by ICBC.Provide personal training and individualized kinesiology services.Mentoring and training will be provided. The Kinesiologist will work, at times,



independently and at other times will work on a team that includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Counselors, and Administrative Staff. Our goal is to assist clients to return to work and improve their quality of life.QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and/or experience in evidence based orthopaedic, concussion, neurological or mental health practice with a solid emphasis on active rehabilitation.Knowledge of psycho-social aspects of disability.EducationMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics or equivalent degree.Memberships & AssociationsRegistration with BCAK, required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
