We’re building a culture where people can grow their careers and are challenged to solve our client’s toughest environmental problems.Reporting to the Project Director - Mount Nansen, the Regulatory Lead is responsible for providing leadership and management of all planning studies, environmental assessments, permitting and regulatory requirements for the Mount Nansen Remediation project.The RoleProvides direction to all activities related to planning studies, environmental assessments and permit applications for the Mount Nansen Remediation ProjectProvides regulatory leadership for the Mount Nansen Remediation Project from planning through execution and completionWork collaboratively with technical teams and proactively identify opportunities to improve project environmental design aspects and streamline regulatory processesDevelops an integrated project schedule including the critical path for the end-to-end tasks and activities necessary to successfully execute the projectInterface and communicate with various levels of government, stakeholders and communities to advance permitting and WUL activitiesRepresent MNRLP in regulatory and community meetings,
workshops and events and oversee the preparation of presentation materialsKeep abreast of existing and pending legislation and regulation changes which may impact the project. Coordinate and disseminate regulatory information within the JVConducts senior reviews of technical deliverables and programs in area(s) of expertiseSupports risk analysis with project managementMonitor and promote system environmental health and worker safety complianceCompletes other projects, reporting and tasks as assignedAll other related duties as required.About YouUniversity degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experienceMinimum 12 years of environmental permitting experienceExperience working in environmental consulting or project consulting settingsExperience in building relationships and engaging with First Nations and all levels of GovernmentKnowledge of and experience in Yukon’s and BC’s (and other jurisdictions) impact assessment and licensing regime for resource development projectsExcellent oral and written communication skillsEnsero has offices in Colorado (Denver, Canon City, and Fort Collins) and Canada (Saskatoon, Vancouver and Whitehorse) and is well established as an innovative leader in environmental management, water treatment, remediation technologies, and facility operations.
