Job Description:

The incumbent is responsible for organizing and performingthe ultrasound examinations requested by physicians; to maintain and documenthigh quality images; and practice good patient care.

Exam requests may be, but are not limited to: Abdomen,Pelvis, Endovaginal, Scrotal, Thyroid, Deep Vein Ultrasound, Obstetrical,Shoulder, Carotid, Echocardiography.

Qualifications:

- Graduate of an approved and accredited school ofultrasonography with current membership in the Sonography Canada and/or ARDMSand CMRITO
- Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer in a hospitalenvironment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain qualified standards inall areas of work.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimumsupervision.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Graduate of an approved and accredited school ofRadiology.
- Previous experience in vascular imaging and Doppler.
