Description Of AssignmentSpeech Language Pathologist 0.2 FTE (one day per week) Part Time, Temporary. Effective September 1st, 2026 until November 13th, 2026. This position will provide service to students in Williams Lake and area.The Speech Language Pathologist willprovide itinerant speech & language services to several public schoolsprovide consultation, direct service, and home programs where appropriate for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 (with emphasis on the primary grades)complete speech & language screening and assessments using standardized as well as informal measuresdesign and implement intervention strategies for students with communication disorders. This will include supporting students across a wide spectrum of needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and other developmental disabilitiessome students may require various forms of augmentative communicationparticipate in school-based team meetingsprovide direction for and work with EA's working in the speech and language programprovide information about communication development and disorders to teachers,



parents and others in the school setting and in the communitySalaryThe salary of this assignment is based on our current salary grid and upon verification of your Master's Degree as well as verification of years of service from previous employers. The current salary range is $80, 347.00 to $123, 266.00 per annum, paid over 10 months and pro‑rated to the FTE of the assignment.Special Qualifications RequiredMaster's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institutioneligible for certification with Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC) and membership with Speech and Hearing BCvalid BC Drivers License and your own vehicle. Access to a School District vehicle is provided for longer distancesprevious experience working in a school setting would be considered an assetprevious experience working with First Nations students and families would be considered an assetdemonstrated ability to work independently and as a team memberCriminal Record Check is required for employment with any BC School Districtactive registrant of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHBC)BenefitsRelocation allowance may be offered with this position.School District No. 27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) is an equal prospect employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
