Why Work With PHS?Your Designs Actually Get BuiltCollaborative EnvironmentHigh-End & Diverse ProjectsBe Part of the BrandCreative OwnershipSupport Where It MattersGrowth & Exposure Gain experience in both design and real-world construction executionExciting Opportunities Be part of unique builds and potential travel opportunities tied to special projectsRole OverviewAs an Interior Designer at PHS Renovations, you’ll play a key role in shaping the look, feel, and functionality of every project.From the first client meeting to final design execution, you are responsible for creating designs that are not only visually strong — but also practical, buildable, and aligned with client expectations.You’ll work closely with our construction and operations team to ensure your designs are executed properly, making adjustments when needed and staying involved throughout the project lifecycle.A critical part of this role is managing your time effectively and delivering completed design packages in a timely manner to keep projects moving forward.This is not a “hands-off” design role — you are part of the full process.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Experience & Design DevelopmentMeet with clients to understand their goals, style, and visionCreate mood boards, layouts, and 3D renderings (SketchUp or similar)Translate ideas into clear, professional design conceptsGuide clients through selections, materials,
and finishes within budgetDesign Execution & Technical PlanningConduct site measurements and develop floor plans and elevationsPrepare detailed design packages with all selections and specifications in a timely manner to meet project schedulesClearly communicate design intent, layouts, and details to the drafting and rendering teamWork alongside our drafting and rendering team to produce technical drawings and visualizations efficientlyEnsure designs align with construction feasibility and project scopeSupport permit drawings and documentation when requiredCollaboration & Project IntegrationWork closely with project managers, estimators, and carpentersEnsure design intent is maintained throughout the buildSource materials and coordinate with suppliersStay involved during construction to answer questions and adjust as neededOrganization & SystemsMaintain accurate and organized project files and documentationTrack selections, orders, and timelines to ensure deadlines are metUse company systems to manage communication and updatesWhat Success Looks LikeDesigns that are both visually strong and fully buildableDesign packages completed on time to keep projects on scheduleSmooth handoff between design and constructionMinimal revisions or issues during build phaseStrong client satisfaction and confidence in the design processClear communication and organization across all projectsWho We’re Looking ForBrought energy, positivity, and personality into your workTakes ownership of your work from concept to completionIs detail-oriented and highly organizedIs a robust planner who can manage multiple projects and timelinesCommunicates clearly with clients, team members, and support staffCan confidently articulate design intent to ensure accurate executionUnderstands that good design must also be practicalThrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentIs proactive, reliable, and solution-focusedCan consistently deliver work on scheduleQualificationsDiploma or Degree in Interior Design (or equivalent experience)2–3+ years of residential design experience preferredProficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar toolsStrong understanding of materials, finishes, and residential constructionAbility to manage multiple projects and timelinesValid driver’s license and access to a vehicleCompensation & StructureInitial 6-Month Contract Position$45,000 – $60,000 annual equivalent (based on experience)Full-time hours and responsibilitiesUpon Completion of 6 Month Contract - Successful Performance will lead to a permanent positionWork EnvironmentHybrid work structure (work from home + on-site client visits)Collaborative, team-first environmentProjects are professionally managed and executedRobust systems and processes to support your workflowFinal NoteIf that sounds like you — apply today.#J-18808-Ljbffr
