This position is based in Montreal. As part of the Application Engineering team, you will collaborate with product management, the commercial sales organization, and cross‑functional engineering teams to support customer needs and business growth. You will provide technical expertise during the pre‑sales phase, help develop tailored equipment solutions, and contribute to ongoing product and system improvements. Join Carrier and be part of a globally respected organization known for its innovation and excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesS upport the sales of custom Air Handling products by providing accurate and timely responses to presales technical inquiries and by assisting with equipment selections by reviewing specifications, design documents, equipment schedules, and application criteria.Create, maintain, and update technical sales material, including submittal data, technical manuals,



product bulletins, marketing brochures, application guides, technical presentations, and sales presentations.Perform presentations of sales and training material at sales offices, customer events, industry gatherings, and through webinars and recorded sessions.Process customer engineered to order (ETO) requests by working across multiple disciplines to review, document, and generate pricing for customer requests.Work with product managers to perform competitive and market analysis, collect sales office and customer feedback for assigned products. Assist with planning and implementing product updates, new product releases and provide input for product roadmaps.Maintain selection software and pricing systems, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement corrections, updates, and new product releases.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical/building/interdisciplinary engineering.3+ years experience in HVAC product support, sales engineering or consulting engineering.3+ years of AHU design experience with AutoCAD, Revit or SolidWorks.3+ years experience in commercial applications engineering support.Fluent verbal communication in French and English.Preferred QualificationsThese are additional assets but not mandatory:5+ years experience in commercial HVAC sales,



consulting engineering or product support.Experience with commercial air handling units and their applications.Product marketing experience in a technical environment.Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to conveytechnical information to technical and non-technical audiences.Technical understanding of HVAC systems, including design, building and energy codes, operation, refrigeration, fans, electrical and control systems, and psychrometric processes.Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills; ability to analyze data, identify trends and propose solutions.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced workplace.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Business acumen, solid math skills, and experience with SAP.Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and work autonomously on multiple projects.Compensation and BenefitsThe base salary range is between $110,500 and $160,500. Compensation may be influenced by geographic location, market data, skills, experience, and certifications. Benefits may include health, vision, dental, disability, retirement plans, life insurance, and RRSP matching where applicable.
