Job Summary:

The Project Manager will organize, manage and plan complex projects for the organization’s research , development and product implementation efforts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Installation Teams

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications and with accuracy and efficiency

- Inspect job sites of each installation crew and correct as needed. Accountable to technician assessments of potential solar installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements

- Accompany crews on job sites to ensure quality and improve techniques

- Communicate and coordinate with sales manager on a regular basis

- Serve as a point of contact for customers/clients during each installation

- Coordinate with corporate departments on a daily basis, provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting

- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize risk

- Coordinate of permitting for installations

- Provide progress reports and other status updates to management team

- Ensure the safety of the staff by holding weekly trainings/meetings

- Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed.





Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

- Must be organized and self-driven

- Good at problem solving and implementing ideas while maintaining a positive attitude

- Leadership and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 3+ years of solar energy experience

- Experience with a customer relationship management system (CRM)

Physical Requirements:

- Prolonged periods of standing

- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time
