ABOUT THE ROLEThe Outbound Team Lead directly interacts with the shipping team, and is responsible for ensuring compliance with the procedure, communicating goals, safety practices, and providing ongoing guidance and support to the employees as they complete their action plans. They will support the shipping supervisor and manager. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to and enforce the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE$22.66 hourlyMonday - Friday (1:30pm-10pm) Full Time, Non-ExemptWHAT YOU WILL DOMonitor Shipping progress and process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Process improvement participation.Provide support and guidance in the Shipping process / function.Provide leadership to all department employees.Conduct employees kick off meetings.Perform regular safety walks and participate in safety meetings as needed.Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.E., Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency.Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas.Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software.Act professionally and remain focused while working.Safely operate all warehouse equipment.Follow directions of leadership.Perform cleaning activities as required.Maintain a secure and clean warehouse.Maintain a positive attitude.Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORMust be 18 years of age.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Supervisor experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace,



preferred.Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals.Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.Must have strong attention to detail.Able to learn systems, applications, and procedures quickly.Good communication, excellent organizational and time management skills.Accurate with numbers and counting; attention to detail.Ability to operate warehouse equipment.Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.Willing to perform other duties as required.Must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required based on business needs.Some experience in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft suite and email use.System and Inventory Knowledge, preferred.Physical DemandsIn performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. The position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs.
