GFL Environmental is looking for Certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians to join our team in Coquitlam, BC! Hours of work: Monday to Friday, day shiftAt GFL our goal is to invest in our people and provide opportunities to grow for life!In this role, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of our fleet of trucks and heavy-duty equipment. and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and complete repairsAssist with reviewing mechanical write-ups and scheduling repairsWork both independently and as part of a supportive team of techniciansWhat You BringRed Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic (required)Minimum 1 year of post-certification experience (asset if more)Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and follow repair manuals, work orders, and safety proceduresPhysical ability to lift up to 100 lbs., kneel, crawl, and work in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, fumes)Commitment to safety and teamworkOther advantages to working at GFL:A network of 20,000+ employees across North AmericaDiverse career pathways and internal growth opportunitiesIncreased sustainability of your community, through the Full Circle Project#GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
