OMERS Private Capital is looking to add an Associate focused on private equity fund commitments, co-investments, and asset management. The role emphasizes strong analytical skill set, thorough understanding of private equity markets, and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Role Specific AccountabilitiesActively participate in the due diligence process for fund and co-investments including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and researchAnalyze fund performance, strategies, and market conditions to assess potential investment risks and returnsLiaise with fund managers, investment partners, and other stakeholders to gather insights and informationMonitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify potential investment opportunitiesAsset management of existing assetsMaintain an updated database of potential funds and co-investment opportunitiesParticipate in team meetings and discussions related to investment strategies and decisionsPrepare regular performance reports and presentations for the investment committeeWork closely with senior investment professionals to support overall investment strategy and objectivesContribute to team initiatives and special projects as neededYou bring the following skills and qualifications1-3 years experience as an investor,



investment banker, or strategy consultantStrong analytical, quantitative and financial modeling skillsSolid understanding of fundamental financial statement analysis, investment analysis, business valuation theory and techniquesDemonstrated attention to detail and strong analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and written & verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt while working with ambiguity at timesAbility to embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a team environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlinesSalary range: $115,000-145,000 per year.
