[email protected] Sr. HR Consultant provides strategic HR solutions and services to HTC in order to contribute to overall regional HR success. Identifies, recommends and implements HR solutions that are aligned with business strategy, and acts as a business partner/consultant to all business groups across all aspects of HR including but not limited to associate relations, compensation, talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, learning and career development.The Sr. HR Consultant is responsible for the implementation and success of HR policies and initiatives and works collaboratively with leaders and associates at all levels to enhance associate engagement, while ensuring compliance with legislative and company policies and guidelines. This role will have primary responsibility for day-to-day HR operations in accordance with guidelines outlined in this job description.Principal Functional ResponsibilitiesHR Business Services and Associate RelationsProvides full range of consultative and strategic services, including but not limited to employee relations, relationship management, performance management,
resource planning and accommodation.Effectively builds relationships and acts as an HR advisor to HTC associates and the senior leadership team on strategic business projects.Maintains awareness of emerging trends and best practices in the external marketplace and recommends solutions that position Honda as an employer of choice.Provides policy interpretation and advice to enhance leader capability and to ensure adherence to corporate HR policies, programs and standards.Advises and consults with People Leaders on workforce planning / succession planning / performance management.Provides direct coaching, mentorship and oversight to Supervisors and Team Leaders on various people leader activities, addressing associate concerns and inquiries. Conducts complex investigations and disciplinary matters with support of manager.Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements.Provides performance management guidance to all levels of management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) to drive positive changes in people management and performance improvement.Responsible for policy development and implementation.Measures organizational health and leads engagement and reward and recognition strategies.Analyzes data and concludes action items with the Management team to ensure cultural alignment and positive associate relations and drive business performance.HR Strategy and Workforce PlanningSupports development of strategies for people management, succession planning, and talent management for key managerial and critical role positions and stakeholders.Supports development of plans to guarantee that resources are managed strategically.Supports Sr. Manager in the development, implementation and evolution of the HR Strategy.Works closely with management to understand and address business issues while leveraging opportunities to develop strategic HR initiatives.Reviews current situation, develops project plans based on strategic direction, implements initiatives and evaluates success.Learning and DevelopmentPartners with leaders to define individual training needs for associates. Identifies development solutions and works together with leaders to track progress and ensure gaps are closed.Develops annual corporate training plan and conducts skills assessments. Sources, coordinates and schedules approved internal training courses.Delivers training and information sessions as required.RecruitmentLeads the end-to-end recruitment of all positions (sourcing, interviews, offer, onboarding).Works with recruitment agencies and consultants on hard-to-fill positions.Compensation/Benefits And Disability ManagementOverall management of STD, LTD and WSIB claims; coordinating Return to Work and accommodation process.Supports biweekly payroll and answers questions.Leads and supports the annual HR performance cycle including merits and bonuses.Partners with Payroll,

Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of job-related factors, including education, experience, knowledge, and skill set.This is an on-site with occasional work-from-home position that requires employees to work on-site 2 days per week with the opportunity to work-from-home 3 days per week (with a dedicated workspace at the assigned company office).
