This role includes leading field trips and supporting the summer farm youth program activities. This role requires creativity and energy to both design and execute current education programming. Additionally,



you will support farming and restoration activities including planting, weeding, harvesting, and processing vegetables.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop lesson plans and outdoor learning materialsFacilitate school field trips and educational toursLead hands‑on workshops on soil, food systems, and ecologyMentor youth participants in summer programsAssist with community learning eventsParticipate in farming activitiesIdeal CandidateExperience in education, ecology, agriculture, and environmental studiesComfortable and capable facilitating groups of youthCreative, organized, and enthusiasticPassion for land‑based learningExperience working in Indigenous communitiesNOTE: This position is supported through the Canada Summer Jobs program, which provides employment opportunities for youth.
