As part of the Community Programs Team, you will focus on creating fun and safe environments for youth aged 10 to 14. This part-time role offers flexible evening shifts and involves interacting directly with participants to instill positive values. A robust commitment to youth development and safety protocols is key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate recreational programming at local schools and events
• Organize Friday night activities for youth empowerment
• Establish connections with participants and provide mentorship




• Uphold YMCA Child Protection Policies in all activities
• Availability for two school nights and Fridays is preferred
Requirements:
• Strong desire to influence youth positively
• Experience in recreational programs is advantageous
• Background in related academic fields is beneficial
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required
• Access to reliable transport for travel between sites
