Join Waasakwa Children's Centre as an on-call staff member. We're seeking caring individuals with a passion for supporting children and families in our community.
This position offers flexible hours and the chance to work with children in a supportive team environment. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of Anishinaabe culture and experience in childcare. This is a valuable prospect to gain early years' experience while making a difference in children's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support programs when required on an on-call basis
• Provide care and engagement for children during shifts
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality service
• Adapt to flexible schedules with short notice
• Promote a nurturing environment for children and families
Requirements:
• Experience working with children preferred
• Knowledge of Anishinaabe culture is an asset
• First Aid & CPR certification (Level C)
• Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Must be a band/community member to apply
