Join Canada's largest IT Company as a Senior Mainframe Developer, in our Financial Services Sector in Toronto.Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days office and 1 day remote)As a Senior Developer, you will be working in a development and support capacity on our core mainframe cards and transactions system.The core application is a large, sophisticated mainframe-based system which connects RBC clients to their banking products and services. This 24/7 application supports critical delivery channels such as Online Banking, POS, ATM and others.Future duties and responsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, deploy, support and evolve software to deliver banking services.Lead conversion, attestation and audit initiativesManage individual priorities, deadlines and deliverables.Assess and analyze business and technical requirements in order to provide estimates and establish plans and timelinesCreate, update and contribute to critical documentation relevant to the projectsEffectively communicate and build rapport with team members and various IT partnersAvailable for after-hours production support when needed (rare)Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This RoleMust-haveCompletion of a post‑secondary educationOutstanding communication skills (written and verbal)Strong background in software development especially mainframeExpertise in COBOL, JCL, IMS (DB/Online/Batch), DB2, MQSeries, Git/Endevor and ZekeNice-to-haveUnderstanding/usage of z/OS Connect, IDz,



zUnit and test automationExperience with CI/CD mainframe pipelineFamiliarity with Java Cloud developmentCGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role: $95,000–$145,000.
