As a Personal Care Attendant, you will assist patients with their daily needs, focusing on meal distribution and personal hygiene. Duties also extend to light housekeeping and patient laundry, contributing to an orderly and respectful atmosphere. Your role will be essential in monitoring patient conditions and following safety protocols to ensure well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meal trays and assist in patient feeding
• Aid in dressing and grooming for patient dignity
• Inform RPN of any notable changes in patient status




• Engage in porter duties and keep areas clean
• Oversee laundry tasks and maintain supply counts
Requirements:
• Completion of OSSD or equivalent necessary
• B.C.L.S. certification is required
• Robust English skills; additional languages beneficial
• Prior experience with seniors or vulnerable populations
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs and manage physical exertion
