This position is straight afternoons.RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstanding of machinery installation, assembly, maintenance, service, repair, and overhaulComprehending blueprints, drawings, specification manualsFabricating machine parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set‑upStart‑up and testing, shutdown operations, renovating and restoring, rigging and handlingCentering and setting to elevation, bearings, seals and packingTroubleshooting computer‑controlled equipment and application of resolutionStainless steel welding, gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG), obtaining hot work ticketsApplication of programmable logic controller (PLC) techniquesWorking with conveyors, gas plant and shop compressors, pumps, and other lift devicesOperate grinders, welding equipment, gas and air dryers, heat exchangers, automated and robotics systems, electrical and electronic controls, lathes and other machining tools, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems as requiredUtilization of power transmission systems,
