forklifts and other loading devices to load and unload materials onto and off trucks and loading docksWrap large components with lightweight tarps and use propane torches as requiredPerform material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpackingOperate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders, and other equipment to transport materials and to store and retrieve materials in warehouses as requiredPerform other activities such as opening containers and crates, filling orders, assisting with inventory, and weighing and checking materialsDocument product shipments by recording units shippedMaintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairsKeep inventory areas, loading areas, and machinery cleanMust be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a timeQualifications (Skills & Requirements)Organizational skillsAbility to read and analyze informationAdept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlinesExcellent time managementProcess improvement mindsetKnowledge of inventory controlAbility to lift heavy materialsData entry skillsCurrent work authorization for Canada is required for all openingsCriminal background check required for candidates aged 18 and overExperience: 2 years of related experience required. Previous stock or inventory experience is a plus.
