OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and management of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and project management skills. This role is vital to ensuring the building’s systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our manufacturing and operational goals.DutiesSupervise and coordinate maintenance activities across all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.Oversee preventive maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to ensure optimal performance and compliance.Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors, providing guidance and supervision to ensure high-quality work.Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.Plan and execute improvement projects related to building infrastructure, safety upgrades, or system enhancements.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards; conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs,



and inspections for reporting purposes.Collaborate with management on project planning, resource allocation, and operational improvements.Lead emergency response efforts related to building systems failures or safety incidents.RequirementsStrong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including HVAC, electrical systems (including low voltage), mechanical systems, and schematics interpretation.Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a safety-conscious work environment.Mechanical knowledgeStrong communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination across departments.Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred.
