LocationMill Bay - Squl'ew', CanadaPosition SummaryThales has a vacancy for a Warehouse Lead who will be integral in the success of daily operations relating to the timely and efficient flow of material and equipment through the warehouse. The role involves manual and automated functions including processing receipts, shipping requirements, inventory control tasks and material routing functions to/from the warehouse in support of operations. The Warehouse Lead will direct and actively participate in daily warehouse operations while working closely with Procurement, Service Delivery, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams and liaising with external organizations including the customer.Key Areas of ResponsibilityOversee daily warehouse operations to ensure effective and timely execution of logistics activities including receipt, storage and dispatch of material, ensuring compliance with quality and safety policy.Supervise, direct, coordinate and participate in daily warehousing functions, including:Receiving: Verify and inspect incoming material and documentation; process goods receipts.Manage non‑conformance of incoming and in‑stock material. Oversee warehouse dock and incoming freight activity.Shipping: Prepare domestic, US and international outgoing freight in accordance with packaging specifications. Complete documentation and labeling while complying with customs and export requirements. Schedule shipments with couriers and freight forwarders; track freight andresolve delivery issues.Material picking, kitting, issue and storage: Initiate and action outbound deliveries for inventory picking and kitting. Process requests for spares; pick, pack and move material for customer delivery. Ensure accuracy of material demand, ship‑to location and delivery documentation. Store inventory in designated approved areas in accordance with hazardous goods and statutory regulations. Process returned material (repairable, damaged, rejected, scrap); ensure accurate documentation for asset traceability and track status.Inventory Management:



Monitor stocking levels and material master data; direct and administer changes. Generate demand and create purchase requisitions; manage progress with stakeholders. Track material availability and delivery dates; follow up to expedite and resolve supply chain issues. Perform parts consumption analysis and recommend stocking level adjustments. Monitor shelf‑life inventories and manage expiry/disposition. Schedule and lead stocktaking activities including cycle counts and reconciliations.Material assets: Manage movement of material assets including component repair and overhaul activities; monitor repair lines, schedule and track status. Manage repairable equipment and special tools/test equipment. Maintain equipment calibration program and liaise with stakeholders to track status.Team and process development: Lead and train warehouse staff on process execution, safety policy and equipment operation; assign tasks. Initiate,support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate with internal and customer representatives and support a collaborative environment. Work proactively with the warehouse team to enhance performance.Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the Thales ERP and/or customer material management systems to update material activity, movement and status. Prepare reports related to productivity, inventory and safety; support KPIs in coordination with the Warehouse Manager.Minimum QualificationsMinimum 5–7 years of relevant experience performing similar activities within a supply chain environment.Experience in supply chain/ procurement and warehousing environments.Working knowledge of warehousing,



purchasing, distribution processes and systems.Previous experience using SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree, trade certification and/or equivalent experience.Defense industry experience is an asset.Familiarity with Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).Knowledge of U.S. ITAR and the Canadian Export and Import Permits Act; experience with export control and permit application processes.Special Position RequirementsSchedule: Core business hours Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00.Physical setting: Warehouse.Regulatory compliance: This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
