As a Maintenance Assistant reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your duties include executing routine repairs and providing minor maintenance operations within our retirement community. You will uphold the organization’s values while ensuring a safe and appealing environment for our residents, combining maintenance tasks with customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute routine repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Perform minor carpentry and maintain exterior grounds
• Conduct regular safety inspections of premises and file reports




• Follow established safety procedures and best practices
• Uphold the values of integrity and ethics in every task
Requirements:
• Ability to follow instructions in English
• Solid self-regulation and independence in tasks
• Capable of performing physically demanding duties
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and other repair skills
• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
