Anthro 3AS3 SESSIONAL FACULTYThe Anthropology Department invites applications for the following teaching position to be offered in the 2026-27 session.Course DetailsCourse Name/Number: Anthropology 3AS3 / Archaeology and SocietyTerm: Winter 2027 (Classes start/end: Jan 4, 2027 – Apr 7, 2027)Number of Sections Available: 1Units per Section: 3 unitsLocation: Central CampusProjected Enrollment: 40Projected TA Support: 0Class Schedule: Wednesdays 9:30‑10:30 am and Fridays 8:30‑10:20 am (3 hours lecture each week)Final Examination period: Friday, April 9 to Thursday, April 22, 2027Wage Rate: $9,435.73 (Schedule A of the CUPE, Local 3906, Unit 2 Collective Agreement)Required QualificationsPh.D. in Anthropology or a related discipline (or near completion).Evidence of successful university teaching at the undergraduate level.Legally able to work in Canada and commitment to equity and diversity.Pay Transparency StatementStarting salary will not be less than $17,845.36 per 6 units,
