About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote E-commerce Platform Specialist to manage and optimize their online store's technical performance and user experience. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for ensuring the e-commerce platform runs smoothly, implementing new features, and troubleshooting technical issues to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with development, marketing, and operations teams to deliver a seamless online shopping experience, making this a crucial position for the company's digital success.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage, configure, and maintain the e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
- Implement and test new features, integrations, and design changes to improve user experience and conversion rates.
- Monitor platform performance, uptime, and security, addressing any technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot bugs and implement enhancements.
- Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO technical aspects.




- Ensure seamless integration with third-party tools and services (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers).

Requirements

- Proven experience as an E-commerce Platform Specialist, Administrator, or similar technical role.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major e-commerce platform.
- Understanding of web development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API integrations.
- Experience with e-commerce analytics tools and performance monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
