About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Information Security Engineer for a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and architecture of secure, scalable, and resilient security systems.
- Oversee the implementation and management of core security technologies (e.g., firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS, encryption).
- Develop and enforce security engineering standards and best practices across the organization.
- Mentor and guide a team of information security engineers, fostering technical excellence.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the SDLC and infrastructure deployment.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies, proactively enhancing security defenses.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in information security engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and application security principles.
- Strong hands-on experience with a wide range of security technologies and platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) for security operations.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
