As a BI, Reporting and Analytics developer, the incumbent creates, maintains and expands functionality by: Identifying appropriate data sources within the data warehouse or other databases; Creating, testing and maintaining data models to support the required solutions; Creating, testing and maintaining enterprise-level reports and dashboards; Producing and maintaining technical documentation for team members and end‑users. Performs a variety of analysis activities, and provides technical guidance regarding BI tools: Institutional metric analysis (enrolment, retention and student satisfaction etc.). Financial analysis (program costing and overhead analysis). Meets with internal clients to: Provide guidance, support on BI matters (e.g.
end user self‑service best practices and enterprise report troubleshooting). To determine future reporting needs and establish requirements for new data requests if existing reports and processes do not achieve client’s required outcomes. Researches and stays current with relevant practices, products, technology, programs and tools. Other duties as assigned by manager. Required Qualifications
Minimum three (3) year diploma or equivalent in Information Technology, Business or related analytical discipline; Approximately 100 hours of instruction in the following: Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Microsoft Certified Skilled, Microsoft BI Designation; Minimum of five (5) years practical experience in a reporting, database administration, analytics or business intelligence role.
