The Bell Creek Complex, approximately 20 kilometres northeast of Timmins, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralisation is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow‑vein longhole stoping methods. There are many support networks in the community including the local Timmins and District Hospital, sports leagues for children and adults (hockey, baseball, basketball, etc.), golf courses, cross‑country and downhill ski resorts, a community pool, and many other community events that provide entertainment throughout the year.About The OpportunityWe are looking to hire an Underground Supervisor to join our Bell Creek Mine in Timmins, ON on a full‑time basis. The schedule for this position is 5‑5‑4 rotation, days and nights; 12‑hour shifts.Compensation: This position offers a salary range of $115,000‑$130,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.Vacancy Status: This is an existing vacancy.



The successful candidate may begin as soon as possible.This role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp‑based position.ResponsibilitiesEnsure operations comply with legislative, company, and site regulations.Ensure compliance with H&S and Environmental.Ensure employees are trained before performing the work.Assign employees specific work assignments each shift to meet production targets daily, weekly, and monthly.Ensure workers are monitored during the shift and provide coaching and training as required.Responsible for the deployment of materials and equipment to meet safety and production requirements in your own area of responsibility.Inspect all work and request corrective actions.Manage employee performance and adherence to the company’s policies and procedures on‑site, including quality of work, discipline, absences, and vacation scheduling.Keep a pulse of the workforce to maintain a positive employee attitude and participation.Takes responsibility for aspects of occupational health and safety and environmental matters over which the individual has control, including adherence to all requirements applicable to Lake Shore Gold Corporation.Special projects may be assigned from time to time.Any other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum 5‑10 years of related mining experience.Supervisory Common Core is required.Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.Robust computer skills and problem‑solving abilities.Strong commitment to safety.The ideal candidate is a motivated team player and demonstrates compliance with all health and safety regulations.BenefitsMine Performance Plan Incentive (bonus)Relocation assistance available for eligible positionsCompany‑paid extended medical, prescription, dental, and vision benefitsWellness Spending
