DivisionPiramal Pharma SolutionsJob TitleSummer Student, OperationsJob DescriptionSupport the Engineering team in improving and optimizing operations processes, contributing to the optimal efficiency, safety, and CGMP compliance and achievement of departmental and company objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross‑functional teams, including EHS, Quality Assurance, Production, Technology Transfer, Warehouse, and Maintenance.Maintain accurate and detailed records of engineering activities and projects.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a protected working environment.Assist in the preparation of documentation required for equipment qualifications and/or commissioning, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Time Based Assessments (TBAs), etc., for regulatory submissions.Assist in the commissioning and qualification of approved capital projects.Monitor, evaluate and report on process systems.Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS),



obtain budgeted quotes for future engineering projects.Identify and implement Operational Excellence initiatives to help increase operational efficiencies in all departments.Participate with cross functional team in the resolution of equipment and/or process problems using operational excellence tools (e.G., Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Why–Why, etc.).Participate in troubleshooting process and project issues throughout the facility as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Process and project engineering experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical company.Time to Reach Performance EffectivenessInduction period: 3 months.Time to reach performance effectiveness: 6 months.SalaryCanada Salary Range: CAD 40,000.00 - CAD 55,000.00 per year.#J-18808-Ljbffr
