Analyze credit information to support lending decisions and process recent and existing Commercial Banking loans and credit solutions Perform financial analysis and calculations, assess client creditworthiness, and prepare detailed credit summaries Analyze clients’ financial performance and risk profiles within the assigned portfolio Support credit-granting decisions through recommendations to the manager Support negotiation of loan terms and conditions and structure loans according to client requirements, risk appetite, and bank policies Monitor portfolio compliance and performance, analyze metrics, and assess industry trends for risks and opportunities Develop proposals to capture new business and expand client relationships Monitor loan performance and the accuracy and integrity of loan documentation Build and maintain client relationships in collaboration with the Relationship Manager and business partners Structure and support new, renewal, and extension loans Take corrective action when required and minimize BMO’s risk exposure by adhering to policies, regulations, and operational guidelines Serve as a point of contact for service requests and elevate issues when needed Support initiatives to enhance service quality, acquire new business, and expand client relationships Identify revenue, cross-selling, and share-of-wallet opportunities Leverage analysis tools to grow a portfolio exceeding ROE thresholds and evaluate client returns Manage timely and accurate data entry into BMO systems Think creatively, exercise judgment, and solve problems within given rules Work mostly independently; broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make sound, risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy and applicable policies, laws,



and regulations Requirements

Preferred 1–3 years of relevant experience in credit or lending instruments or financial operations in a corporate or banking environment Credit Qualifications and associated credit knowledge and skills according to credit portfolio requirements and qualification standards, if a Credit Qualifiable job Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience Foundational proficiency in problem solving, collaboration, detail-oriented work, customer service, and analytical thinking Intermediate proficiency in financial analysis, loan structuring, data analysis tools, regulatory compliance, portfolio management, credit risk assessment, banking operations, and Microsoft Office Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring while effectively managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
