Technical Project Manager to lead data migration within a banking transformation program using SDLC/Agile - RQ02456

Location: Hybrid: Downtown Toronto - office 3-4 days per week

Join a large-scale banking transformation initiative focused on complex data migration delivery and technical program coordination. This role leads the data migration workstream across data mapping, testing, conversion, and cutover activities while coordinating technical teams and business stakeholders. The position supports integrated program tracking, governance forums, and escalation management within a complex banking delivery environment.

Must Haves

- 5+ years in Project Management leading technical transformation programs
- Data migration delivery across data mapping, testing, conversion, cutover, and test production management within SDLC/Agile environments
- Microsoft Project and MS Suite for project tracking and delivery management
- Jira ticket management and intermediate-level Google Suite usage
- Experience managing multiple projects within banking or Canadian financial services environments

Nice to Have

- PMP certification
- Experience with migration projects
- Experience using Tableau, Power BI, and other reporting tools
- Experience working on business-driven initiatives

Responsibilities

- Lead the data migration workstream within a banking transformation program
- Oversee setup, readiness, and governance of the data setting
- Identify and manage data-migration risks, issues, dependencies, and RAID log activities
- Manage technical program escalations and communicate business impacts and recommendations
- Own integrated program tracking for scope, schedule, milestones, resources, risks, and issues
- Facilitate project-team meetings and governance forums
- Maintain project artifacts and follow through on decisions, actions, and escalations
