This role offers exposure to owner-managed businesses, U.S. corporations, and Canadian businesses with U.S. operations, while also providing the opportunity to mentor staff and contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s U.S. tax practice.What You’ll DoPlan, supervise, and execute U.S.
corporate tax engagements and client projects.Prepare and review U.S. corporate tax filings and related tax planning work.Act as a trusted advisor to clients and support strategic decision-making.Research and advise on complex U.S. corporate and international tax matters.Review Forms 1120, 1120F, partnership returns, and related filings.Work on international reporting forms including 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8992, and 8993.Advise on areas including GILTI, Subpart F, Section 956, and Canada-U.S. treaty matters.Support and mentor junior team members within the practice.Build and maintain strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.What We’re Looking ForUS CPA designation or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required.Minimum 5 years of U.S. corporate tax experience.Strong technical knowledge of U.S. corporate federal and state taxation.Experience with international tax reporting and cross-border tax matters.Understanding of Canada-U.S. tax treaty provisions and state nexus rules.Experience reviewing corporate and partnership tax returns.Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.CAD $120,000 – CAD $145,000#J-18808-Ljbffr
