About the roleD-Wave is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Processor Software team, which develops and maintains software supporting our internal Processor Development (PD), Hardware Engineering (HWE), and Lab Operations (LabOps) teams. This role is responsible for custom-built configuration management tools used by all three teams.What you'll doContribute to the full software lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, validation, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioningTake ownership of and responsibility for bugfixes, enhancements, and current feature development for our existing configuration management software systemWork with D-Wave’s LabOps team to provide stable back ends and single‑sources‑of‑truth for the custom front‑end applications they build for their own useImprove software architecture, reliability, maintainability, and performance through optimization, testing, and documentationWork closely with software testing and DevOps team members to support reliable validation and deployment of software products for internal useMentor junior developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharingContribute to process improvements, technical discussions,
