They deliver and manage oxygen and other compressed gases, aerosolized medications, and high‑humidity therapies. They also perform and interpret related pulmonary diagnostic testing. Working as part of the multidisciplinary health‑care team, they help achieve physicians’ goals for patients’ cardiorespiratory status, assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care and airway management. Other duties may include patient or staff education sessions.About YouGraduate of a recognized School of Respiratory TherapyMust hold/maintain registration with the Nova Scotia Regulator of Respiratory TherapyMust hold/maintain certification in CPR at NRP and ACLS levelsTravel to other sites may be requiredAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamEffective planning,
