We are looking for a motivated, friendly, and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our busy optical practice!

This is a full-time position in a quick-paced optical environment. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, reliable, and enjoys working with patients while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Assist patients with frame selection and eyewear styling
Take measurements and assist with optical dispensing
Process orders, repairs, adjustments, and lab work
Provide support with patient bookings and general administrative tasks
Maintain an organized and qualified optical environment
Work closely with the optometrist and optical team to ensure an excellent patient experience




Provide exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships

Qualifications
Previous optical experience/sales experience preferred
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Optical dispensing experience is an asset
