Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks, a solid work ethic and meet and understand our core values.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastics, or drywall
Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
Layout flooring, roofing or drywall ensuring they are levelled and compatible
Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, trim and doors, framing, drywall etc.
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures

Qualifications:
Polite with all interactions with customers, coworkers, sub trades & City Inspectors
Neat appearance (uniform will be provided and kept clean daily)
Problem solver, thinking outside the box and self motivator




Proven experience as a Carpenter
Proficient in using hand/power tools
Knowledge of general carpentry techniques and methods
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
Good physical condition for heavy lifting
Strong attention to detail

Nice-to-have Skills:
Up to date on latest processes, installation methods, codes and tools.
Tile laying and waterproofing skills for flooring and wall installations
Caulking proficiency for finishing touches

Job Types: Full-time, Part time

Pay: $29.44-$35.11 per hour
