Overview
Hyperama Inc. is a federally licensed meat processing facility regulated by CFIA and SFCR.

We are seeking a Production Assistant to support daily production, packaging, and sanitation operations. The role involves following instructions, maintaining accurate records, supporting production schedules, and ensuring compliance with PCP, HACCP, and CFIA requirements.

Robust communication, attention to detail, and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily production, line setup, and changeovers.
Follow production schedules, SOPs, GMP, HACCP, PCP, and CFIA requirements.
Move, weigh, and stage materials and finished products.
Perform and record temperature, weight, and quality checks.
Package, seal, and label products according to specifications.
Verify labels, date codes, lot codes, and packaging quality.
Report equipment issues, delays, hazards, and non-conformances immediately.
Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas as required.
Complete sanitation logs, production records, and checklists accurately.




Follow allergen control, hygiene, PPE, and cross-contamination procedures.
Work safely and communicate effectively with the Production Manager, QA, and team.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Ability to read, write, and understand English for SOPs, documentation, and workplace communication.
Robust communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow strict food safety, hygiene, and GMP requirements.
Comfortable working in refrigerated and warm processing areas.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg (50 lbs) repeatedly.
Willingness to wear all required PPE.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and availability for assigned shifts.

Note: In-person training will be provided as necessary

Pay: $17.60 per hour
